Do you have a Guru??

I observe three categories of people in the society very closely. There are Politicians, Cinema actor/actress and Swamijis (Babas). According my estimation, 60 out of 100 in South India get influenced by any of these people (90% in Tamil Nadu).

All these people play vital roles in the lifes of south Indians. Among the above three, Babas are very very dangerous. Once they enter in to your life, you self confidence level will come down and started thinking they are powerful/intelligent than you which is not true in reality.

More and more younger generation is getting attracted to this trend and everybody is searching for a Guru/Baba. One reason for this is the failure of joint family system and technology.

I personal don’t agree the slogan of Nokia (Connecting people). I don’t know whether mobiles are really connecting people or not but surely they are disconnecting the human relations. Earlier, when mobiles are not there, people used to visit relative /friends houses on weekends/holidays. Mobiles are not giving the opportunities for meeting people/for improving human relations. Forget about relations/friends, I know the people who are not getting time to see their own parents due to mobile connectivity. When there is no guidance/help from elderly people in house, swamijis enters in to someones life.

Personally, I am not against to any baba and I also don’t say that they are fraudsters. However, I only want to mention that they are not god and we need not bow our head before them. I somehow don’t accept anyone as greatest person on the earth. He may be expert in his subject/area, but he can’t be god. When we don’t take the help of our parents/elderly people in house and when we believe we are weak, babas comes in the life. It’s just a belief nothing more than that.

One reason for mentioning about babas is, there are the richest people in India today. I know babas who have properties worth hundreds of crores. Instead of spending valuable time and money on these people, if the young generation starts donating to poor, India will prosper like anything. In USA, they are many Bill Gates /Warren Buffets ( Who has donated 90% of their prosperity for the prosperity of their country).

In India, people spend money for god/swamijis only. If the mind set doesn’t change, India will be ‘developing country’ every after 100 years it can’t become ‘developed’ country.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

The best mirror is an old friend

“Advice from your friends in like the weather, some of it is good, some of it is bad.”

I firmly agree with the above quote. For some, friends are everything and they call a person as friend, only they talk/meet every day.

My definition of friendship is different.

In this busy world I don’t expect a person (whom you consider as friend) to be in touch with me everyday. I also expect the same from others. Too much of interaction with anyone is not good. I also don’t call this as quality of friendship.

For example, due to some known reasons, you haven’t meet/talk with a person (friend) for a quite time. However, when you call/meet him, when he/she speaks with you as if you are meeting every day, it is real friend ship according to me. Friends should be like railway lines (they meet only when it is required).

I personally don’t invite any one into my personal life. I am a private person. Too much interaction with anyone gives the change to others to give free advices to me which I don’t like. I respect others and expect others to respect me.

I have a very little numbers of friends (Well wishers) so far in my life. I don’t interact with any of these friends regularly. However, when I speak/ meet at any time (after a gap of any no of days / years), I get warm affection.

I have met one Gentle Man in july 2005 in ICICI Bank. I was introduced to this Gentleman by my Manager. I was very anxious that day as I got a call from my home informing that my father is ill and I need to go home urgently. I have informed to Manager that I need to go home urgently. This Gentle Man overheard my conversion and said “Please call me sir if you need any help”.

I really surprised by his gesture

This is first time in my life that some unknown person is offering help to me. I don’t know till that day there will be people like him also. Later he became my Boss. I have really enjoyed every moment of life working with this person. After some time, he was moved to other skill so as me.

In my life till date I haven’t met a person like him. I consider him as my Role Model, Mentor and Guru.

His Name is RIAZUL HASAN.

This ‘Down to Earth – Humanity’ will be there in my memory forever and I consider him as true friend as per my understanding about friendship.

I just hate my life

"I just hate my life” ... is the suicide note written by Ms.Kavitha (23), a Dell Employee.
I read this news in the sakshi news paper one month back. As per the details given about this lady, she really doesn't have life & death problems. She is just 23, completed M.C.A , got job in good MNC & married two years back. She really doesn’t have any unsolvable problems. Yet, she has committed suicide by feeling life is a boring activity.

I really fell very bad when I read the news of somebody committing suicide for failing in exams, for not getting job, for failing in love.... I really feel pity of these people.
For a simple reason, today’s young generation is committing suicides. They want everything so fast in their life. They want to complete their education so fast... as soon as they complete their studies they want to get the job...once they step in to job, they want car, house...

THEY ALSO WANT TO END THEIR LIFE FAST...........

I can challenge that more & more people will become mad and will commit suicides in the comings days.

One common reason for youngsters committing suicide could be not knowing the techniques for managing stress. Stress attach is more dangerous than heart attack. The only way to manage stress is by relaxing the mind. When I say Relax... Someone says my stress buster is cigarette, for some other something else. Someone will go more advance and say that I will get total relaxation when I visit my Baba. However, very few will visit psychology counselor when they need help. In the western countries psychologists plays very important role in most the successful people life.

To get relief from stress, we need to delete bad experiences from our mind. Our mind is like a computer which can hold many softwares (thoughts). How we delete unwanted software from the system, we can delete the unwanted memories from our brain. By deleting bad experience and keeping only good, active things in the brain we can be always happy.

All this is possible with a technique called NLP (Nero Linguistic Programming). This is very popular in western countries and in India slowly this concept is picking up.

How yoga can balance our physical body and gives good shape, NLP makes our brain very sharp and active.

If anyone is in depression due to any reason, if anyone is feeling bored, if anyone is planning for suicide, suggest NLP and they will see a new world with their own eyes.

SUICIDE IS NOT A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO A TEMPORARY PROBLEM.

Memory Loss

Memory loss/Forgetness is a gift to mankind by God. This is a famous dialogue from the movie 'Santosham' ( Hero Nagarjuna , Directed by Dasarath).

I complete agree with this dialogue and if we can develop this skill(??), every day is a 'Happy Day'.

I have been observing Guru ( My Son - 14 months) from last 3 months. He is always happy and smiles lot because if he doesn't remember past events(bad things). He doesn't remember that his mother has scolded him for not eating food / for not sleeping. He cries a lot when his father is going to office , when he fells down while learning walking.... He forgets everything and starts the next day fresh.

Of course, the above must be applicable to all children of age 1-5. They all are happy and smiles a lot because they don't carry any emotions in their brain. They are so lucky and really, forgetness is a gift by god to them.

Two months back, in my company, we have celebrated smiling day. A Group of 10 employees stood at the entrance and greeted the people coming to office with smiling faces & asked the employee to smile. Our channel manager has observed though all the employees know most of the other colleagues, they don't smile each other. And, he made us to do this activity for a day ( From next day, life is as usual ...no change ...no smile...).

Adult carry all the interactions ( Bad & Good) in their brain and when they speak with others they have only bad things in brain and try to interact... The result, they can't smile at everyone....If we can delete the emotions every end of the day and if we can start everyday fresh( like small children), Every day is a happy day for us too.

when you speak with anyone , if you carry emotions ( past experiences) in your brain ( especially, only bad things, forgetting the good things), you will not get natural laugh & joy....

My message to everyone is , Forget past, try to start every day fresh and live happily...

KEEP SMILING.....

I have created this blog to express my thoughts and inner feelings about various topics.
